Drennan Micro Barbed Wide Gape Match Hooks To Nylon
8 barbed hooks tied to 35cm of extra strong, low diameter mono.
Available in sizes 16 to 22. Also available with hooks in sizes 10 to 18.
Size 16 - This size 16 in 0.40mm guage high carbon steel wire is ideal for single or double caster, double maggot, punched bread, worm segments etc. Although relatively fine and wide in the gape the heavy forging provides additional strength.
Size 18 - Wide gape hooks semm to reduce the number of missed bites and on this pattern with its inclined point you dont drop many fish. This 18 in 0.36mm gauge wire is an ideal size for double maggot, single caster etc.
Size 20 - This size 20 with its curved point is an excellent single maggot hook but its wide gape means it can also be used for double maggot, especially if they are hooked one up one down which also reduces spin.
Size 22 - This wide crystal bend size 22 is a classic single maggot hook, small enough and light enough in 0.28mm guage wire to ensure lots of bites and strong enough to compile a good bag of silverfish on the one hook.
