C-40X Carbon Fibre Composite

This specially blended graphite polymer elongates and reinforces the carbon fibres to make the body and rotor 25% lighter, 1.5 times stronger and 100% anti-corrosive.

Long, Easy Casts

The machined aluminium, 2-tone anodised spool has an LCS (line control spool) lip. Along with a slow oscillation, this lets you cast longer with less line trouble.

5+1 Bearings

The 5 stainless steel ball bearings keep the reel running smoothly under pressure, while the Quick-Set anti-reverse bearing eliminates back play for instant hooking power.

Durable Bail Wire

Bail wires tend to be the first part of the reel that fails, which is why the Epixor’s is made from heavy duty solid aluminium.

High Quality Gears

The precision machine cut brass pinion gear is built with Torsion Control Armor (TCA). This eliminates reel stem twisting and keeps the gears aligned.

RESII Rotor Balancing

Okuma’s computer balanced Rotor Equalizing System eliminates rotor wobble. This highly accurate balancing gives you enhanced sensitivity and smoothness on the retrieve.

CFR (Cyclonic Flow Rotor)

Cyclones of air are pushed through ported the rotor. This means you get a lighter, faster drying rotor with more rigidity for reduced flex.
