Lew's Custom Speed Spool SLP - CH1SH
The Custom Speed Spool is downsized without compromise, made possible by SLP cutting-edge engineering, styling and performance. The reel is compact in height and width, realizing a 10 percent overall reduction in size from traditional sleek Speed Spool models. Key to the small design still being able to deliver a big reel performance is SLP’s innovative fast-starting 32mm spool.
- One-piece aluminum frame
- Strong, lightweight graphite sideplates
- Drilled and forged, double anodized aluminum U-style 32mm spool
- High strength solid brass Speed Gears®, precision cut on Hamai CNC machines
- Premium 10-bearing system with double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings and Zero Reverse® one-way clutch bearing
- Externally adjustable Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system utilizes both an external click-dial for setting the magnetic brake, plus 4-individually disengaging, disc-mounted internal brake shoes that operate centrifugally
- Double anodized aluminum spool tension adjustment with audible click
- Rugged carbon fiber drag system provides up to 20lbs. of drag power
- Bowed lightweight aluminum reel handle with Winn® Dri-Tac handle knobs
- Double anodized bowed aluminum drag star with audible click adjustment
