This entry level rod is reasonably priced and perfect for
newcomers to deadbait fishing. The carbon blank is strong enough for tough predator
fish, and the full cork handle keeps the rod light and lets you adjust your
grip on the fly. There’s a ‘TC Elite Deadbait’ version with a 2.75lb test curve
and a ‘TC Elite Deadbait X’ version with a 3.25lb test curve.
High Quality Blank
The high quality carbon blank comes in a choice of 2.75lb
and 3.25lb test curves. They compress well and can handle a double figure pike,
even with heavy leads and baits.
Powerful Butt End
This rod offers plenty of power at the butt end for exerting
maximum pressure at close quarters, especially when you’re netting a fish
making late lunges.
Responsive Tip
Even from a long range, the tip section picks up line very
quickly, allowing the power to quickly kick in to set the hook.
Full Cork Handle
The full length cork handle lets you adjust your grip and
keep it secure, even when casting and playing fish in bad weather.
Screw-Down Reel Seat
The practical screw-down, DPS-style reel seat is tipped in
another section of cork so you can adjust your grip even more on the fly.
Versatile
This rod is ideal for the colder months when predator
fishing is at its peak, and the 12ft length means it works in a variety of
swims.
